London Anarchafeminist Kolektiv

Reading group

We’ve read lots of different books, texts and chapters since last year.

We have a few ongoing publishing projects.

More news soon!

So far we’ve been reading “Feminism, the anarchist connection” by Penny Kornegger and the chapter about patriarchy in “How non-violence protects the state” by Peter Gelderloos.

Next meeting (monday 6th october) we’ll be discussing “Feminism is for everybody” by Bell Hooks

And in the future, we’ll be looking at more Bell Hooks (“Feminist Theory: from margin to center”);at the “Color of Violence: the Incite! anthology (in particular, chapter 1 about the Black Women’s Movement in Britain, and chapter 24 about the domestic violence shelter system); at the work of Derrick Jenson (including the “While the World Burns: 50 reasons to stay in denial” graphic novel, and any other graphic novels we think are really good); at other chapters of “How non-violence protects the state” by Peter Gelderloos.

“Feminism, the anarchist connection” by Penny Kornegger, the chapter about patriarchy in “How non-violence protects the state” by Peter Gelderloos and the chapter 1 of “Color of Violence: the Incite! anthology are on our wiki:
